Her Turn: Gen. Colin Powell’s daughter hopes she makes it big before her dad gets interested in the White House. Linda Powell, 26, said her father has no desire to be vice president. As for higher aspirations, she said with a laugh: “Oh, President? I hope I become famous first.” Powell opens in “Judgment Day” on Thursday at the Samuel Beckett Theater on 42nd Street. She plays Anna, a flirt in a small German town in the 1930s. In the movie “Reversal of Fortune,” she played one of the law students who helps Alan Dershowitz win Claus von Bulow’s case.

Hindsight: Bill Regardie had some scary times keeping his irreverent magazine, Regardie’s, alive in the 1980s, so the colorful publisher toasted his survival last week with 60 friends at Jack Kent Cooke’s table at Duke Zeibert’s restaurant in the nation’s capital. You thought the ‘80s were bad? Said Regardie: “Given the excesses of the ‘80s and the realities of the ‘90s, I’ll take the ‘80s any time.”

The Fixx Is In: Members of the rock band The Fixx have something to give junk bond financier Michael Milken when he arrives today at the minimum-security Federal Correctional Institution in Pleasanton to start his prison term. They have a special copy of video of “How Much is Enough,” a song about greed in America, featuring money-grabbers who can’t get enough. The song, from the group’s recently released album “Ink,” contains such lyrics as, “Good enough’s not good enough/Don’t complain that you’ve got it tough/With all you have your life’s a bore/Can’t relax you want so much more.”

Burned: The international headquarters of Delta Upsilon fraternity said last week its Rutgers University chapter should be banned for three years for branding pledges on their buttocks. The university and the international headquarters suspended the chapter in late January after an investigation was launched into hazing accusations. A member of the fraternity said its officers were not available for comment. Rules say that chapter recruitment during the suspension must end.
