Police are looking for a 63-year-old woman who was last seen Saturday getting into a pickup in front of The Country Store, not far from her home in the 4800 block of Kelly Drive.

The woman, identified as Deborah Moree, was reported missing that afternoon by fellow residents of her boarding home. They expressed concern that she had left the house without her purse or medication for diabetes or for recent foot surgery.

The woman is described as white, 5-foot-4, 166 pounds, with hazel eyes and gray, neck-length hair. She is missing most of her teeth and was last seen wearing a gray to black fur hat and a lose-fitting dress or robe, according to Lt. Don Lewis of the Carlsbad Police Department.

She was further described as being somewhat of a loner with no friends or relatives in the San Diego area. It was said she can become disoriented.

“She has no history of taking off like this,” Lewis said, “so we’re concerned for her welfare. She needs her medication.”

She was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Saturday getting into a blue, well-maintained pickup truck driven by a white man.

People with information are asked to contact Detective Duncan Presley.
