U.S.-Canada-Mexico Trade Accelerating: Global competition and the increasing importance of world trade are quickly removing barriers to trade and investment in the United States, Mexico and Canada, according to a Conference Board study. A free-trade agreement linking the three countries would speed up the economic integration. But whatever the outcome of U.S.-Mexico negotiations concerning the trade pact, U.S. and Canadian investment in Mexico will increase as will Mexican penetration into U.S. and Canadian markets, the study said.
