Transient Killed in Dispute in Supermarket Lot
A transient was shot and killed in a dispute in a supermarket parking lot near Koreatown, authorities said Wednesday. The shooting in the lot of Ralphs Market at 3rd Street and Vermont Avenue occurred about 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Robert Reynolds said.
Witnesses heard a gunshot and then saw a man fire two more rounds at the victim, he said. The victim collapsed and the gunman fled, Detective Andy Cicoria said. The unidentified victim died at the Hospital of the Good Samaritan, he said.
