Brian Williams added 18 points for the ninth-ranked Wildcats (25-6, 13-4), who earlier wrapped up the Pacific 10 Conference championship and an automatic berth in the NCAA tournament.

Oregon State (14-13, 8-9) didn’t make a real run at the Wildcats the rest of the way.

Mario Jackson scored 21 points and Will Brantley added 19 for Oregon State.

Arizona State 87, Oregon 84--Isaac Austin had a career-high 27 points and the Sun Devils rallied to win in overtime after blowing a 23-point to the Ducks in the second half at Tempe, Ariz.

The Ducks (13-14, 8-9) trailed, 58-35, with 15:31 left after a 14-0 run by Arizona State (18-9, 9-8). But they forced overtime when Terrell Brandon hit a three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to tie the score, 80-80.

The Sun Devils made five free throws to overcome the Ducks in overtime.

Brandon scored 31 points and Richard Lucas added 17 for Oregon.

Jamal Faulkner added 19 points and 410 points this season, breaking Byron Scott’s freshman scoring record of 395 in 1979-80. He also had seven rebounds to push his season total to 164, three better than Johnny Nash’s freshman record set in 1976-77.
