Bening’s Next Project: Actress Annette Bening, an Oscar nominee for “The Grifters,” will be heading for Ireland in June to star in the Samuel Goldwyn Co. production of “The Playboys.” The new film is written by Shane Connaughton (“My Left Foot”) and Kerry Crabbe. “The Playboys” of the title are touring theater players who visit a small Irish village in 1959 in the midst of a young woman’s “summer of change.” The two male leads are yet to be cast.
