West Hollywood : Three Landmarks Named
West Hollywood city officials have designated three buildings as historic landmarks, the first structures to be protected under the city’s new historic preservation ordiance.
The city’s only adobe house, at 916 Genesee Ave., is among the buildings. It will join a pair of commercial buildings, at 8811 and 8851 Santa Monica Blvd. The two buildings were formally the sites of the community’s first bank and store.
