Studio City Man Found Shot to Death in Home
Los Angeles police were searching Tuesday for the killer of a man who was found shot to death in his Studio City home.
Ronald Kowall, 41, was found early Monday afternoon by his parents at his home in the 4500 block of Laurelgrove Avenue near Moorpark Street and Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Lt. Daniel Lang said. Lang said Kowall appeared to have been dead for about a day.
Lang would not release details about the shooting Tuesday because police were still searching for Kowall’s killer. He said the motive for the killing had not been determined and declined to comment on whether police had identified any suspects.
