Soccer rioting in Dresden, Germany, left six people injured. Police arrested 44 people before and after the European Champions Cup game between Dynamo Dresden and Red Star Belgrade. Four policemen and two of the alleged rioters were injured. Referee Emilio Soriano Aladren called the game in the 78th minute after fans began throwing rocks and beer bottles. Red Star was leading, 2-1.

Police used a water cannon to disperse fans.
