Why Is Car-Pool Cheating Allowed?
Our freeway car-pool lanes are for two or more persons per vehicle only. I continually see one-person vehicles in these lanes driving 70-plus m.p.h.
Many of these violators are in vans, pickups and sports cars with dark-tinted rear and side windows.
Why are these traffic violators allowed to continue to use these lanes? They are defeating the purpose and the use of the freeway car-pool lanes.
