A rematch of last week’s controversial Mike Tyson-Razor Ruddock fight has been set for June 28 at the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas, promoters said.
Tyson, the former undisputed world heavyweight champion, won by technical knockout over Ruddock on March 18 in Las Vegas when referee Richard Steele stopped the scheduled 12-round bout in the seventh round.
Ruddock’s manager, Murad Muhammad, said it was too early to say who the referee for the bout would be, but added, referring to Steele, “You can be sure it ain’t going to be the one that people don’t want to see.”
