Because of rain-related problems, the El Camino Real on-ramp to eastbound California 78 will remain closed until April 8, Caltrans has announced.
Motorists should use the Jefferson Street on-ramp instead.
Caltrans was reconstructing the El Camino Real on-ramp as part of a $42.9-million widening project, a statement from Caltrans said. Heavy rains put the work behind schedule.
California 78 is scheduled to be widened from four to six lanes from Interstate 5 in Oceanside to Interstate 15 in Escondido by 1993.
