Group in Mexican State Urges Return of Legal Abortion
Advocates of the right to abortion in Chiapas state are urging the state legislature to lift its suspension of a law legalizing abortion on demand, the daily La Jornada said Friday.

The manifesto expressed concern that lawmakers would never lift the suspension imposed three months ago after the legalization sparked a national controversy.
