COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON WATER CONSERVATION

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power will hold a series of meetings throughout the city to explain the Los Angeles Emergency Water Conservation Plan. Water-saving devices such as low-flow shower heads and toilet-tank displacement bags will be available at no cost. Korean, Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese translators will attend meetings in areas where English is not the predominant language. Informational brochures have also been translated into a number of languages.

The meetings begin at 7 p.m., unless otherwise noted:

April 25: Castelar Elementary School multipurpose room, 840 Yale St., Los Angeles.

April 27: Watts Labor Community Action Center, 10950 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles. *
