Solving State’s Water Shortage
The article on piping fresh water from Alaska to California made me mad. Looking at a satellite map of Los Angeles, I see at least four area rivers that just pour millions of acre-feet of fresh water into the ocean every time it rains. Why can’t this water be trapped and pumped back to reservoirs that need it?
