Nordstrom Prevails in Labor Complaint: The National Labor Relations Board has rejected allegations of unfair labor practices against the clothing store chain. It said Seattle-based Nordstrom had reasonable cause to videotape a demonstration by the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 1001, which brought the unfair practices complaint last December. The board also ruled that Nordstrom gave the union proper notice before closing its fur salons and acted properly when it withheld the names of company officials participating in a profit-sharing plan.
