Pasadena : No Task Force on Parks

Share

The city’s parks have been neglected for several years, with $10 million in needed work on hold and only $150,000 spent annually on improvements, city staff members told the Board of Directors on Tuesday.

But directors turned down creation of a special task force to assess equipment and programming needs at the parks, as suggested by the Parks and Recreation Commission.

Instead, the commission will work with the Pasadena Unified School District to assess needs.
