‘Big Hoss’ Rolls to Easy Victory
ALBANY, Calif. —
Despite breaking slowly, heavily favored Letthebighossroll had no trouble in scoring a four-length victory over five rivals in Thursday’s $50,000 Piedmont Stakes at Golden Gate Fields. It was the winner’s third victory in as many starts.
The 3-year-old gelded son of Flying Paster, ridden by Corey Nakatani, covered the six furlongs in 1:10 1/5 and returned $2.80, $2.20 and $2.10. Caliche’s Secret finished second with Sew Predictable third.
