IRVINE : City Votes to Keep Its Early Meetings

Share

After a successful six-month trial run of an earlier meeting time, the City Council gave its approval to making the change permanent.

The council voted unanimously last week to begin all meetings at 5 p.m. The council will discuss routine matters first, then take a break before taking on weightier matters at its traditional 6:30 p.m. session.

Until last October, the twice-monthly council meetings began at 6:30 p.m.
