Burbank Airport to Hike Rates for Auto Parking
Burbank Airport officials Monday voted to increase automobile parking rates by up to 40% to increase revenues and deter overnight parking at the facility’s close-in lots.
As of May 1, the new rates will raise the cost of parking all day in the airport’s short-term lot to $24 from $18. The two long-term lots will charge $13 a day, up from $10.
The daily rate for the airport’s two remote lots will rise to $7 from $5. A terminal-side valet parking service will go to $18 a day from $15.
