Bomb Blast Damages House in West Hills
A homemade bomb exploded in a West Hills neighborhood early Wednesday, but no one was injured, Los Angeles police said.
The bomb detonated about 1:45 a.m. outside a house in the 6400 block of Ellenview Avenue, Detective Don Tabak said. Five people inside the house, which was slightly damaged, escaped injury, Tabak said.
Tabak said bomb squad investigators were trying to reconstruct the bomb to determine how it was made. Police had no suspects in the incident.
