GARDEN GROVE : Summer School Enrollment Begins

Summer enrollment for the Garden Grove School District began this week and will continue on a first-come, first-served basis, school officials said.

The summer session for elementary school students runs from June 26 to July 24 and intermediate and high school sessions run from June 24 to Aug. 2. Summer classes will be offered at Evans and Murdy elementary schools, Irvine Intermediate School and Rancho Alamitos and Santiago high schools. Bus transportation will not be provided.

Classes include English, reading, math, history, drivers education and English as a second language. The deadline for registration is May 10 for elementary school students and May 17 for intermediate and high school students.
