FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Carson and Compton: Eastbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes from Avalon Boulevard to Alameda Street, plus the Avalon Boulevard on-ramp, Central Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, Wilmington Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp, Alameda Street off-ramp and Acacia Avenue off-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon today; marker repair.

2. Cerritos: Eastbound on-ramp at Norwalk Boulevard and the eastbound off-ramp at Bloomfield Avenue; 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

3. Bell and South Gate: Northbound No. 4 lane from Imperial Highway to Slauson Avenue, plus the Florence Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp; 9 a.m. to noon Monday; marker repair.

4. Bell and South Gate: Northbound No. 1 lane from Imperial Highway to Atlantic Boulevard; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday; marker repair.

5. Bell and South Gate: Southbound No. 4 lane from Florence Avenue to Imperial Highway, plus the Firestone Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; marker repair.

6. Bell and South Gate: Southbound No. 1 lane from Washington Boulevard to Imperial Highway; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday; marker repair.

7. Bell Gardens: Northbound No. 4 lane from Firestone Boulevard to Florence Avenue; 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; sign repair.

8. Commerce: Northbound off-ramp at Washington Boulevard; 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; sign repair.

9. Commerce and East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Washington Boulevard to 3rd Street, plus the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the eastbound and westbound Pomona Freeway (60), the Washington Boulevard on-ramp and Olympic Boulevard off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon Saturday; marker repair.

10. East Los Angeles: Connector road from the southbound Long Beach Freeway (710) to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60); 6 a.m. to noon Saturday; marker repair.

11. Long Beach: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes between Alondra Boulevard and Wardlow Road; 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday; raised markers.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

12. Industry: Westbound No. 4 and 5 lanes from Crossroads Parkway to the San Gabriel River Freeway (605) junction, plus the westbound Pomona Freeway (60) connector to the northbound and southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); 6 a.m. to noon today; mudjacking.

13. Monterey Park: Eastbound No. 5 and 6 lanes from the Long Beach Freeway (710) and Pomona Freeway (60) junction to Findlay Avenue, plus the Atlantic Avenue off-ramp and on-ramp; 6 a.m. to noon Saturday; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

14. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 3 lane from Atlantic Boulevard to Eastern Avenue, plus the Eastern Avenue off-ramp; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; landscaping.

15. Norwalk: Northbound on-ramp at Imperial Highway; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday; landscaping.

TERMINAL ISLAND FREEWAY (103)

16. Long Beach: Southbound No. 3 lane at the Commodore Schuyler F. Heim Drawbridge; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; bridge repair.
