ORANGE : Library Trustee to Be Conference Delegate
A member of the Orange Public Library Board of Trustees has been selected as a California delegate to the 1991 White House Conference on Libraries and Information Services.
Tom Saenz, an administrative assistant for special programs with the Orange Unified School District, is one of 48 state delegates chosen from a field of library trustees, professionals, government officials and members of the public who will attend the event.
The purpose of the conference, July 9 through 13, is to develop recommendations to improve library and information systems and to explore ways to encourage their use by the general public.
