Comfort in Giving

How about sending some of the surplus rice--that the water-intensive Central California rice farmers can’t sell to Japan--to the Kurds?

Maybe some of us in Orange County who are being admonished not to flush our toilets to save water might get some comfort in contributing to a worthy cause.
