FULLERTON : Soviet Industrial Official to Lecture
The head of a Soviet engineering institute will discuss the impact of perestroika and the current economic upheaval on education in the Soviet Union tonight at Cal State Fullerton.
Yuri Zheleznov, rector of the Moscow Institute for Steel and Alloys, will speak at 7:30 in Mackey Auditorium in the Ruby Gerontology Center.
Zheleznov is visiting the campus as part of a student and faculty exchange program between the university and the Soviet institute.
The lecture is free and open to the public. The campus is at the corner of State College Boulevard and Nutwood Avenue, west of the Orange Freeway.
