Photos of Homeless

The City Council’s approval of Teen Quest has reinforced my faith in the political process. I applaud their humanity and courage. I also share the council’s distress at the tactics employed by the Centre City Development Corp. The use of photographs of the homeless in a demeaning way was not just a cynical attempt to galvanize the process, but was a painful reminder that children and the homeless are a much-maligned group that certainly deserve more respect.
