Liquor Store Hit by Armed Robber
An armed robber took an undetermined amount of cash Sunday morning from Eddie’s Liquor at 16561 Bolsa Chica Ave., police said.
The suspect entered the store, pulled a black automatic handgun and ordered a female clerk to put money from the cash register in a bag, Police Lt. Patrick Gildey said.
The robber fled after telling the clerk, “don’t follow me or I’ll shoot you,” Gildey said.
The suspect was described as 45 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 200 pounds, of heavy build, with gray and black short hair and a thin mustache. He wore a blue baseball cap, a light-blue, long-sleeved dress shirt and jeans, Gildey said.
