Upcoming Art Shows
The Arcade Artists’ Galleries second annual fine art show begins with a reception from 5:30-10 p.m. Friday at the Arcade Building, 218 E. Grand Ave., Escondido. The show will continue from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Works by more than 21 artists will include landscapes, wildlife, collage, floral, Western, marine and avant-garde. The show coincides with the Art, Architectural and Antiques Walk sponsored by the Downtown Businessman’s Assn. Maps for the walk will be available at the art show.
VIVA Cinco de Mayo juried art show begins with a reception from 12:30-3 p.m. Sunday at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe, 640 Alta Vista Way, Vista.
The mixed-media show will run through May 26. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
