Charles Barkley of the Philadelphia 76ers, who was fined $10,000 by the NBA for spitting on fans in March, received a police citation Tuesday for disorderly conduct during a playoff game Saturday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The incident occurred between the fourth quarter and overtime of Philadelphia’s 116-112 victory at the Bradley Center, when cups of water and ice were thrown between fans and the 76ers’ huddle. Police cited Barkley for his role in the exchange.

City Attorney Charles Theis said his office will review the incident. The maximum fine is $200. However, if Barkley wishes to avoid a court appearance, he could pay $109 and the matter would be closed. The NBA said it completed its investigation Tuesday and will take no action.

The 76ers said the incident, which they were unaware of until Wednesday, is between the police and Barkley. Barkley’s attorney, Glenn Guthrie, said he is unaware of the citation.
