* John Hamilton has joined Global Van Lines as western regional vice president. He will oversee the company’s operations in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Idaho. He was formerly a partner at San Diego Office Movers and vice president-sales and marketing for Compumove Systems. Hamilton has also been western regional manager for Allied Van Lines, president of Farley Brothers Moving and Storage and western regional manager for Paul Arpin and Bekins.
