Gillen Helps Laguna Hills Win Easily

Jeramy Gillen hit a three-run home run in the second inning and had six runs batted in as Laguna Hills defeated Laguna Beach, 17-1, in a Pacific Coast League game Friday at Laguna Hills.
The victory gave Laguna Hills (15-11, 11-4 in league) a share of the league title with Estancia.
Mike Messinger had three hits, scored twice and had two RBIs and Ted Wilkes had three hits and scored twice for Laguna Hills.
Scott Dowd pitched three innings, allowing three hits, Brian Kessler pitched three innings of hitless relief and Brett Nista pitched the seventh.
