**** Charlie Haden Liberation Music Orchestra, “Dream Keeper,” Blue Note. The third volume of politically inspired music by the bassist’s folk/jazz big band is far more buoyant in tone than the previous and somber “Ballad of the Fallen.” The pieces--from jaunty Salvadoran rumbas to pure church gospel--are brilliantly arranged by Carla Bley and performed with spirit by Haden’s all-star, 17-piece unit.
