Terminal Data Reports $272,000 Loss for Quarter

Terminal Data Corp., a Moorpark maker of document imaging machines, reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $272,000, compared with a year-earlier loss of $896,000.

The narrower loss in the quarter ended March 31 came on an 11% increase in Terminal Data’s sales, to $5.74 million from $5.17 million.

For the first half of its fiscal year, the company posted a $1-million loss compared with a loss of $1.52 million a year earlier. Its six-month sales inched up to $10.4 million from $10.3 million.
