Police Responding to Noise Complaints Kill Suspect

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
Police responding to complaints that a man was playing Glenn Miller music too loudly killed him in an exchange of gunfire that they say he started.
Ronald Neil Boyd, 56, fired once at Officer D. K. Head but missed and was shot by another officer, authorities said. Boyd died late Saturday at University Medical Center.
