Dream Team: Demi Moore, Brooke Shields, Ally Sheedy and Madonna have been working out with baseball coach Joe Russo, who has been helping Columbia Pictures test women for a movie about a female baseball team in the 1940s. “I rated them from a 1 to 4 with 1 being excellent,” Russo told the New York Times. He wouldn’t reveal the ratings but said Madonna was “very well coordinated and a very hard worker.” All the actresses had some trouble hitting and were a little awkward when it came to throwing the ball. “I know it sounds silly,” Russo said, “but what I have to do is get them not to throw like a girl.”
