East? West?: Henry Kissinger managed to travel the world as Secretary of State, but he got his directions mixed up during his stint as a guest weatherman Tuesday on “CBS This Morning.” The tricky business of pointing to a map that viewers at home see through electronic wizardry--but is not visible in the TV studio--apparently fouled up Kissinger who repeatedly pointed in the wrong direction as he gave the forecast for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. He promised to get the technique down by “next time,” prompting host Harry Smith to comment that Kissinger had “invited himself back.” Kissinger was asked on the show after anchorwoman Paula Zahn learned of his “secret desire” to be a TV weatherman.
