A Couple of Hints for Darryl’s Benefit
Item 1: Darryl Strawberry claims that playing against his former teammates energizes him, that the roar of the Big Apple is motivating. However, for $4 million a year, it would be nice if he could psych up for more than 12 games each season.
Item 2: Darryl claims his recently ailing left shoulder was healed when a pastor prayed for him and laid hands on the injured area. At Darryl’s current lackluster pace, equaling last year’s 37 homers and 108 RBIs would be the biggest miracle.
