Hollywood and Art

“The Art of Hollywood’s Other Deals” (May 12) was of particular interest to me, as president of the board of governors of the Otis/Parsons School of Art and Design, the oldest art school in Los Angeles and one of the top schools in the country.
When I looked at the list of collectors, I was appalled to see that not one of them is helping needy students attend Parsons.
I would hope that it is because they are unaware that most art students are unable to afford full tuition and must rely on “friends” to help them. If any of these collectors are interested in helping our students, perhaps they will call us.
