Three Pittsburgh football players--starting nose tackle Derrick Hicks, linebacker Terrance Wheatley and reserve cornerback Ken Abrams--have been suspended indefinitely. Coach Paul Hackett would not disclose the reason, but the Pittsburgh Press and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported the players stole and used a teammate’s credit card. The players made restitution and no criminal charges were filed, the newspapers reported.
