More NBC News: “Today” co-anchor Katie Couric will begin a 10-week maternity leave on July 1, and news anchor Faith Daniels will fill in for most of that time, NBC said Tuesday. Daniels will continue as host of NBC’s “A Closer Look” daytime series. . . . Correspondent Rick Davis has been named national correspondent for “Today.” The job has been open since former national correspondent Couric was named co-anchor this spring. Davis has been based in NBC’s London bureau for the last four years.
