Nevada Casino Winnings Up: The state Gaming Control Board said casinos won $474.1 million in April, up 8% from the same month in 1990. The big winners were clubs in downtown Las Vegas, in the Laughlin area on the Colorado River and in Elko County in northeastern Nevada.
