Charles Manson follower Sandra Good is moving back to California to be near the convicted mass slayer, a prosecutor who has steadfastly monitored those involved with the mastermind of the infamous Tate-La Bianca murders announced Thursday.
Now known as Sandra Collins, the 46-year-old woman is planning to live near Corcoran State Prison, south of Fresno, where Manson, now 56, is serving a life term, Deputy Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. Steven Kay said.
Collins/Good served a 10-year sentence for sending threatening letters to businessmen. She was paroled in 1985 and moved to Burlington, Vt.
“At first she rejected parole because one of the conditions was that she couldn’t associate with the Manson Family,” said Kay, who has fought to keep those involved in the August, 1969, murders behind bars. “She will do something to get to Manson. Whether she’ll get in trouble doing it or not, I don’t know.”
