USC’s Smith Deserves More Credit Than Blame

After reading the letter from Arthur Hernandez about Larry Smith (June 15), I think Mr. Hernandez should pull his head out of his Ojai Valley and smell the smog. Larry Smith stood by his players and supported them throughout this lengthy ordeal. Unless I’m mistaken, our system of justice states that we’re innocent until proven guilty. It’s time to start giving Coach Smith some credit.
