Share

An 86-year-old Thousand Oaks man who was found floating face down in his swimming pool Wednesday died of natural causes, the coroner’s office said Friday.

An autopsy conducted on Salim Hollow determined that he suffered a ruptured thoracic artery and fell into the pool, Deputy Coroner Jim Wingate said.

The victim’s wife told investigators Hollow was taking his after-lunch walk around the pool at the couple’s home at 765 Calle Mandarinas. She was inside the home when she heard a splash, and then discovered Hollow floating in the pool, Wingate said.
