GETTING OUT
Unbelievable. Your May 19 article “Getting Out” describes our family’s attitudes, emotions and fears about leaving Southern California.
We are Pasadena lifers . . . and on June 26, we are pulling the kids out of their private schools, cotillions, equitation, piano, diving, tennis, acting, choir, Brownies, and Boy Scouts, packing the dog (leaving the goldfish) and moving to Putney, VT.
Hopefully, there we’ll find a quieter, gentler, less expensive way of life.
