MOORPARK : City OKs Addition for Litton Building
- Share via
Litton Industries will be allowed to build an addition near the Moorpark-Simi Valley Freeway connector, the Moorpark City Council ruled.
The four-story project, which will be Moorpark’s tallest office building, will be adjacent to the Litton building at Los Angeles Avenue and Condor Drive.
Litton Systems, a research and development arm of the defense contractor, will occupy the new structure.
Litton Aeroproducts, Teledyne Laars and Terminal Data Systems employ about 1,100 people in the business park. The Litton Systems building will add up to 1,000 workers, a company spokesman said.
Litton expects to begin construction by the spring and move in by the end of 1992, about the same time the freeway connector is scheduled to be completed.
