TV Notes: The two-hour pilot for “US,” Michael Landon’s series that was a good bet to make the fall schedule, is expected to air this fall on CBS. . . . The same network, on July 19, starts up “Whose Side Are You On?,” a Mike Wallace-anchored program examining opposing sides of controversial issues. Topic that night: euthanasia and assisted suicide. KCAL-TV’s fourth annual “SANE Kids Say No” telethon last weekend raised more than $480,000.
