Sure, this is California. And like, dressing up is wearing the black jeans instead of the blue ones. But every once in a while, you feel like going for the glitter. Wearing the white tie.

Sashaying in satin. Daring decolletage. And these formally clad folks--going to the June Ball of the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel--show that when Californians want to, they can dress up with the best of them. And the results are awesome.
