Knight of Be-Bop: Trumpeter Miles Davis has been made a Knight of the Legion of Honor, France’s national order. France’s Cultural Affairs Minister Jack Lang will pin the order’s red ribbon on the 66-year-old trumpeter and bandleader at a ceremony in Paris on Tuesday.
